community liaison.

Pride London has restructured its role and engagement with the LGBT communities, this area is now Community Liaison. As of last year all groups are formally now part of pride London and are managed by specially appointed convenors for all areas. In recognition of all our work last year we won the GOLD Award for the Best Celebration of Cultural Diversity at the Royal Albert Hall.

Community Liaison is now not just the Equality and Diversity groups but also the campaigns, Conferencing, charities and grants and this whole committee is chaired by a designated trustee of Pride London responsible for all of this

The groups then report directly into two Equality and Diversity directors who report to the chair of Communities Liaison

B.A.M.E (Black and Asian Minority Ethnic) this area is managed by OUTBURST UK and Eddie Lockhart.

Eddie has a long standing reputation with pride and is a Director of Outburst UK one of the, leading Black and Minority ethnic Pride Events that is fully supported and recognised by Pride London.  Last year due to the strong leadership of OUTBURST UK both as a sister charity and partner and also a member of Interpride they now work very closely with Pride London.  This group is fully under the control of the convenor who reports directly to the director responsible for Equality and Diversity, any comments please send to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
