about festival fortnight

The Pride London Festival Fortnight started in 2006 when London hosted EuroPride. It was a highly successful Festival, with over 100 shows. There have been several other Festival events in subsequent years, but in 2009 there really was something for everyone as we introduced a new model. We celebrated our achievements, looked forward to our future and thought about who we are, what community means and why we are here. You can find out more in the Festival archive. It has now grown into a richer and more diverse experience and will continue to develop ever year. With 2010 it will be even bigger.

pride present

We have opened the doors to planning Pride London 2010’s Festival. This year we will be looking at increasing the in-house productions with a host of varied activities that are set to make 2010 a year to be remembered. As the planning is now underway if you would like to become involved in the festival please make contact with festival@pridelondon.org with your ideas and how you can become involved.

pride future

We are laying the groundwork and begin preparations for hosting World Pride in 2012 and are looking for creative partners, contributors and sponsors.  This is the key objective of the Festival that is ongoing. With the opportunity to showcase LGBT Arts and Culture in the Capital. Such a forum will set this as the only event of its kind in the UK and is set to be the BIGGEST LGBT festival that London has seen.

It is a big undertaking and hope you will enjoy participating as much as we do. So come on and get involved with the Pride London festival and showcase your work

This is your chance to become involved and showcase your skills. If you are studying arts and performance at a College or University or even an existing artist then get in touch and let us pivot you into mainstream performance via our festival

Sponsorship

As with all events it needs sponsorship and funding, if you would like to be a sponsor or part fund the festival then you can do so by visiting the section called get involved and then go to sponsorship, or by emailing sponsorship@pridelondon.org this will then give you the chance to be in at the very start of a festival that is new and innovative and brings to the forefront opportunities for both artists and sponsors alike
