Pride London is committed to KEEPING PRIDE FREE and creating an event that is run by the community for the community.  Putting on such a large festival and Parade Day is expensive (Parade Day = £400,000!! - all raised through donations and sponsorship).

We are run ENTIRELY  by volunteers, with some specialist consultant help, so every penny of this money goes on creating the event.  You can read more detail about how this money is spent and where it comes from in our finance section.

Pride in London has had a long and sometimes chequered history.  There have been times when it has been run by a commercial company, WE ARE A CHARITY now and have been for 6 years.

Finding the best part of half a million pounds every year is never easy.  Almost two thirds of our money comes from our sponsors.  We are very grateful to them for the support they show the LGBT community; quite simply without them there would be no pride.  The rest of our money comes from grants (from people such as the Mayor of London), donations-in-kind (like the nice people that make our website work), and donations directly from nice people who want to see pride continue.

If everyone that attends Pride London donated just £1 it would make a massive difference.  It would allow us to continue to grow and develop our event in London into one of the most fun mixes of politics, Pride and party.  It would also allow us to continue our work supporting LGBT communities, and their pride events, around the world.

Your business can really play a big part of the UK's Capital Pride. By holding fundraising events and campaigns with proceeds going directly to the charity, Pride London will shout loudly about how much you are supporting London's LGBT community.

You will receive regular certificates and all totals will be regularly published.

There are no fees for becoming a Pride Business Supporter, instead all Business Supporters guarantee to raise a minimum £200 for Pride London throughout the year, and in return Pride will work with you to publicise your fundraising events and your business via our website and festival publications.
